We Love ‘Em Bones: OS Accessories

Hold on guys, it’s not what you think. You don’t have to be the bone collector to be able to get a hold of skeletal fixtures to spice up your outfit. This is where OS Accessories comes in, brainchild of stylist-slash-fashion blogger Paul Jatayna and artist AJ Omandac.

What is OS Accessories?

OS (pronouced as single word |äs|) is a street accessory based in Manila, Philippines. It revolves around the versatility of polyurethane bone reproductions as accessories. Raw and edgy, OS produces painstakingly handcrafted necklaces, bracelets, harnesses, and caps that are completely wearable–giving your personal style some teeth.

What made you decide to venture into this type of business?

Honestly it started when we met two or more years ago. I wanted to do something that we can do together. Since I was an illustrator/artist and he was into fashion, jewelry I think was perfect. Then it snowballed into something way bigger after that, a serious business.

What do you think is special about OS? What sets it apart from the rest?

OS is individually handcrafted by our team of workers.  The bones look and feel real without slaughtering a dozen animals. With the number of bone jewelry around the world, OS set itself apart by infusing our punk street aesthetic to the brand as a whole. We don’t pretend to be glamorous or otherwise.

What are your future plans for OS? Say, in the next 5 years?

We envision ourselves as a full cult brand in the next years or so. Apparel, accessories, home, and maybe luxury.
