“SS13″ is a motion editorial-slash-film that is a part of an off-schedule project from designer Lee Roach, recently showcased at London’s Hannah Barry Gallery. Shot by Luke Clay Thompson, the film showcases the designer’s latest wear in a series of freeze frames and slow motion sequences. In collaboration with Nike (sponsoring six pairs of Nike Lunarglide+3 trainers shown) and Nasir Mazhar, the film is an exercise in “reduction and repetition” and is an ode to 21st century minimalism.

Technique-oriented, masterful and hypnotic, this short is a must-watch.
