Runway Review | Arnold Galang S/S 13 at Ph Fashion Week
Arnold Galang takes the Spring/Summer 2013 season to the dark side with his goth-inspired collection. Keeping his color scheme monochromatic with an all-black collection, he shows a brilliant play of texture and details through the use of various fabrics and appliques. Juxtaposing structured and flowy silhouettes that flatter a woman’s figure in all the right places, putting the exemplary detailing as the focal point (laser cut-outs, stud embellishments) and topping it off with understated styling, the collection transcends the runway and translates into wearable pieces for real, modern, fashion-savvy women.
