The Lonely Island: “Spring Break Anthem” Music Video
The comedic musical trio The Lonely Island let loose the visuals for “Spring Break Anthem”, included in their upcoming third LP, The Wack Album, which premiered on their weekly web series “Wack Wednesdays”. Deftones: “Swerve City” Music Video
Sacramento 5-piece, Deftones, are back with a shockingly beautiful, Western-inspired video for “Swerve City,” directed by Gus Black. Off their Koi No Yokan album, check out the video above.
Unraveled: Patti Grandidge
With hardly any trace of makeup and in the simplest of clothes, Patti Grandidge, one of Philippine show business’ dearest darlings today, makes a great host (and by this, we mean way beyond your television screens). Welcoming us into her home, spic and span, perhaps from her self-professed OCD (“fixing every single thing, like turning something, fixing something, just making sure everything’s neat,” she says), it’s easy to forget that this woman is your constant view on billboards while driving through the excruciating Manila traffic, when you flip magazines open or turn the TV on. Catching her dressed down, going through last-minute details for her then-upcoming wedding to multi-hyphenate Jon Herrera, sharing her fondness for her younger brother and confessing how her mom still scolds her for biting her fingernails, all while waiting for the camera to start rolling for the interview–she makes you comfortable. And it dawns on you; Patti is unbelievably real.
With only old jazz music crooning in the background, PattiĀ poses and Nicco immortalizes the moment in a photograph. I linger in the background, observing her subtle, graceful movements. And with us, in these rare candid moments, she unravels.

John Legend: “Who Do We Think We Are” (ft. Rick Ross)
John Legend does what he does best in the visual for his new Rick Ross-assisted single, “Who Do We Think We Are”. In the video, the 34-year-old singer gives Hugh Hefner a run for his money as he throws a luxurious house party clad with beautiful, underdressed (or should we say undressed) women. Included in his forthcoming album, Love In The Future, which is set to be released on the 25th of June, check out the video up top.
777 Tour Documentary
What happens when Rihanna goes on tour on a 777 jet, with 150 fans and journalists on board for 7 days? A documentary.
A clever strategy to promote her recently released seventh album, Unapologetic, the documentary centers on the pop star’s whirlwind tour of seven countries (Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London and New York, to name a few) for seven shows in seven days. Airing on Fox just last night, view the visual for yourself up top.
