“The East” Trailer

“The East” is a thriller film directed by Zal Batmanglij, that centers around Sarah Moss (played by Brit Marling), a successful operative for an elite private intelligence firm who is tasked with infiltrating an anarchist group known for executing covert attacks upon major corporations. However, Sarah finds her priorities changing as she befriends the members and begins to develop romantic feelings for its charismatic leader, Benji (played by Alexander Skarsgard).

Also starring Ellen Page and Patricia Clarkson, and rated with a 7.8/10 on IMDB (which is a rare feat) the film is set to premiere on May 31. Check out its trailer above. Pretty interesting.

Viva La Manika’s New Releases

Our favorite Manila-based fashion brand Viva La Manika has released their latest collection of accessories for the ladies to enjoy. We personally can’t get enough of their laminated rings featuring iconic personalities. There’s no better symbol of idolatry than something cool you can wear out and about, right?

Here are five of our favorites.

Head on over to their Facebook page for the complete set of items and the order procedure.

Sigur Rós: “Ísjaki”

We don’t understand a single word out of Sigur Rós‘ new single “Ísjaki”, but hit play on its lyric video above and you’ll realize so easily how music is a completely different magical thing all on its own, no matter what language it speaks. Let it sound, and bask in its melody; though the visual might freak you out a little bit if you stare at it too long.

The single is off their upcoming album, Kveikur, which sees its official release on the 18th of June. Stay tuned for more of the Icelandic rock trio’s music releases.

A-Trak and Tommy Trash: “Tuna Melt” Music Video

A-Trak and Tommy Trash present the official music video for their collaborative track “Tuna Melt”. Taken from last year’s EP of the same name, this music video highlights a house-wide display of dominoes and kinetics constructed by Tim Fort. This video is the craziest thing I’ve ever watched in a while and I can no longer write anything substantial, so I’m just going to cut it short and just tell you to watch the video!
